At the U School we have aligned values with the ways we do things. We not only expect dynamic, rich and challenging learning environments tailored to the needs and interests of each student, but also teachers to be impactful in ways that extend beyond the traditional classroom. Teaching at The U School is not just about delivery of content materials and curriculum, although they remain critically important, but about the exciting methods of engagement and visceral connection of students to the application of knowledge, school values, and habits of success with the purpose of building student expertise through partnerships and project-based learning.
Additionally, we are a center in the system for advancing anti-racist principles, restorative justice, and trauma-impacted practices on top of all the elements that make us unique!
