Dr. Marjorie Gaskin

Capping 15 years as a math instructor, academy coordinator, and curriculum designer, I am no stranger to education. I’m Dr. Marjorie Gaskin and my student centered approach to teaching emphasizes individualized instruction and critical thinking strategies embedded in real world applications.

As the current instructor of Math Support at the U School, my goal is to grow, challenge, and facilitate the higher order thinking skills needed to command our STEaM and other advanced mathematics courses and disciplines. Math Support is aligned and taught concurrently with our students’ regular math class, giving extra practice, and utilizing a variety of problem solving methods to strengthen the knowledge base of struggling students as well as those thinking outside the box.
It is my honor to inspire and experience the growth of our young critical thinkers as they mature into autonomous citizens who create their future by effecting change in the world.
